The dominant feature in Nicov is the Church of the Nativity of Virgin Mary - a pilgrim church built between 1717-1726. The central basilica with two towers at the front, copula and roof lantern far exceeds regular village churches in terms of height as well as architectural qualities. In its vicinity, close to the road from Nicov to nearby Plánice, there is a well with radioactive water, emblazoned with legends about many miraculous recoveries.
